Occasionally you may run into errors while using EmcienPatterns. Below are some of the common ones that can occur- clicking on the error will display more information as well as a possible workaround.
RuntimeError: Format must be specified
Cause: the type of file could not be detected by the filename.
Resolution:
- Verify that the File Format is set to Auto or manually select the correct format.
- Make sure that the file name includes .wide.csv
EngineError: parse script was killed
Cause: parse script was killed, most likely for using too much memory
Resolution:
- If using a VM modify the settings to increase the amount of RAM allocated for memory.
- Specify the number of lines to be processed using the Partial File Import setting instead of the entire file.
DataURI::TransferError: SFTP transfer failed.
Cause: Possible network connectivity issue or misspelled URI
Resolution:
- Edit the Company settings in EmcienPatterns to verify that the Data URI is correct and try again.
- Verify that the SFTP connection is valid using a 3rd party application such as Cyberduck or Filezilla.
StandardError: File not copied successfully
Cause: Possible network connectivity issue or misspelled URI
Resolution:
- Edit the Company settings in EmcienPatterns to verify that the Data URI is correct and try again.
- Verify that the SFTP connection is valid using a 3rd party application such as Cyberduck or Filezilla.
Uploaded file size does not match
Cause: Possible network connectivity issue or misspelled URI
Resolution:
- Edit the Company settings in EmcienPatterns to verify that the Data URI is correct and try again.
- Verify that the SFTP connection is valid using a 3rd party application such as Cyberduck or Filezilla.
